Look for companies that follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for drugs of supplements
Find companies that provide third-party analysis for active ingredients and contaminants (you can often ask the manufactureer for this) A third-party weigh-in ensures that the studies and promises don'nt come from scientists or researchers directly associated with the company.
Stick with products that have some science behind them-preferable clinical trials-or at least have a loing history of use.
Use clean products, free of fillers, binders, excipients, flow agents, shellacs, coloring agents, gluten, and lactose.
Be cautious about mass-manufactured supplements. While they can cost a lot less, you get what you pay for-poor quality and highly compressed materials that your digestive tract can't break down.
Don't give up trying to live your life in a more conscious way-eating better, exercising more, and connecting with your community. But adding the right kinds of supplements will enhance your health.
